Anew dying should have probably been more touching if I actually cared. The story didn't give her too much time or a personality for that matter, so with her dying, it didn't even stir any sort of emotion from me.

when i was drawing this, i drew his hair slightly too long, but it looked ok and i was too lazy to fix it. This hair reminds me of Saint Seiya hair XD

Transform!

This is suppose to one of the many forms of Kamed Rider Kuuga. Why Kuuga you ask? Cuz i actually watched a handful of episodes of this on Hong Kong television when i went back to visit one summer. It showed every morning on ATV and i got hooked into it because of the plot.

Currently in the US, there's an Americanized version of Kamen Rider Dragon Knight (aka Ryuki in Japanese) playing on the CW. So for the past two months i watched it just to see how it is. the plot is starting to get intriguing at episode 8 ^___^;;;. i really wished they just showed the original Japanese series and not have to remake for the US (back in the olden days there were no reemakes). They tried it once for Ultraman Taiga, but i guess that wasn't too popular since they didn't even air the whole series..

I'm not one to follow the sentai shows, like how i follow anime. i'll watch it if it's on TV, but that's it. i don't d/l them or watch them online. But i used to love Power Rangers when i was like 4 to 8 years old.

Real Curry is Really Hard to Make

GINTAMA BANZAIIIiiiiiii!!!!!!!!!!

In the beginning of this week's episode 145 of Gintama, it was announced there will be a 4TH year of Gintama!!! YATTAAAAAaaaaa!!!!

When i first heard rumours that Gintama was gonna end at ep 150, I absolutely refused to believe that. But as time went on i really started to believe it was gonna end....TT ^ TT
However, there was a clue that i thought was against this case. It was the fact that Sunrise started broadcasting subbed English Gintama episodes on Crunchyroll this past January. I thought there was no way Sunrise would do this for a series that was gonna end soon.

Sunrise, and Sorachi-sensei, really know how to get the fujoshi's blood pumping >3<

Here's Japan from Hetalia.

You know~ when i was reading the Hetalia manga, i never really found Japan really interesting. But when Japan makes his real appearance in episode 4 of the anime, things changed. His voice actor breath life into him, and gave him a deep, polite, calm, bishie demeanor. I don't know why, but i expected Japan's voice to be slightly higher-pitched, and less..well...sexy. The background music and the falling sakura for Japan's appearance greatly added to the appeal. I think without the music and the scenery, i wouldn't like Japan as much.

It's funny how some people's faces do look like a tomato when they get mad. A math teacher of mine in high school was exactly like that. Her cheeks would puff up and her lips pressed into a thin line. It looked like her whole head would explode XD And then we would all get gooey tomato paste goodness

In the manga, the mangaka points out that Johnny Depp does look like Jesus (or vice versa?) So guess who i modelled my Jesus after ^__~

btw, when i was in high school, there was this girl whose surname was "Jesus". And if you had caller ID on your phone, you could get "Jesus" calling you XD

Buttons Are All The Rage Now

I saw Coraline in 3D on Saturday. Yes, the ones where you actually have to wear the glasses, and suffer a slight headache right after the movie ends. But it is worth it. The movie was visually stunning; even without 3D They didn't sugarcoat it for kids either.

So this is my drawing of the black cat in the movie. I chose to simplify th cat because no matter how i drew it, it turned really ugly...orz..... i tried, and tried, and this was the only one that looked okay... again orz.....

Random observation: The last movie i saw in theatres was "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button", and now i saw "Coraline". Both having something to do with buttons.

Invading Your View!

For the past 2 or 3 days i was working on my presentation about invasive species in Japan. One of the animals i chose to talk about was the Java/Indian Mongoose. These mongooses (mongeese?) was especially an invasive species to the Amami-Oshima Island in Southwestern Japan. They decreased the overall number of species on the island through predation. Hence, they are invasive, and not simply exotic.

I think the black and white Tetris imprints itself more into one's mind more than the colour versions. But i have dreamt of both versions of Tetris before. In my opinion, the colour version makes it harder for one to go to sleep; while the black and white version just creeps into your subconscious mind.

i watched episode 100 of Gintama today. Chockful of JUMP and Japanese pop culture references. That reminds me, during ep 98 of the Owee arc, i think Rumbel got one of the references mistaken. "Yodobatsu Camera" is a parody of Yodobashi Camera, and not Bic Camera <--- just a random note.

When watching the 100th episode, you just can't escape from Dragonball Z XDDD In it they made a reference to how "Namcha" got left out and eventually gone. It's not the first time Gintama has mentioned the disappearnce of poor Yamcha.

My drawing is composed of all the things that Dragonball eventually did not have TT___TT

O___o i haven't drawn Dragonball fanart since i was 12. i remember drawing my first one around 3~~

Today is Groundhog Day, and Wiarton Willie saw his shadow. That means there will be another six weeks of winter TTATT

lol, it's not like anyone takes Willie's prediction seriously, but i can tell you many people don't like him for his predictions XD Last year, Willie was so wrong. He didn't see his shadow, which mean spring is coming soon. However every weekend in February last year, there were snowstorms. It just happened every weekend only. Eventually, people didn't even bother planning on doing anything over the weekend anymore since they knew they would had to cancel because of the snowstorms.

So reading the newspaper today about groundhog facts. Apparently, groundhogs come out of their burrow because they see it is bright outside, or they need to procreate :D

yeah...i saw the CN Tower today, and this idea came up while i was on a extremely extremely bumpy bus ride.

why not anthromorphise the groundhog you ask? Well combined with that tower and message, it would have been too much XD

Anyways, i was stupid enough to contract a trojan/virus/malware/worm/etc....on my computer. This isn't my first time. I know my computer hates me and is in pain right now. Hence, my drawing of my computer's current situation. The blue hair and orange eyes is suppose to represent Windows XP's colours ^__^;;

Hopefully, this problem will be solved in a few days.

i just watched episode 16 of Gundam 00 S2. Ever since i saw Lockon's orange haro in the first season, i always thought it looked like a basketball. And i wanted Lockon to dribble it.
